We finished being dry, so it’s time to be very wet.
Both the Agon Wastes and the Torvus Bog are said to have been ruined immediately following the meteor’s impact. While there’s no Impact Crater on this world, I’m wondering what those places used to look like. I’d guess Torvus used to be a lush forest. Perhaps Agon was grasslands?
This place has portals all over, but the door locks are a lot stronger so that doesn’t mean we can go wherever we like. In fact, just to get here, we had to bypass a pair of Super Missile door locks that thankfully are in different places on each version of Aether. The nice thing is that any sort of missile-based door lock is a once-only lock, and after that we can just use the Power Beam to open the door for free. The most expensive lock is when enemies lock the doors, really, but I’m glad I figured out how to get more beam ammo from caches or those door locks would really dig into my supply.
