Teleporter Maze

I take too much damage and the bosses take too little.

Chykka was a long boss fight, but that was because it had four phases and each took a while. This boss was fifteen minutes and only a single phase, and that’s not even counting the minute break I took in the middle! I don’t typically get sick playing a game, but this one is an exception. It might just be the complicated 3D detail on such a tiny screen; as a result of the way the game plays, I’m actually moving the DS all around while I play. (There aren’t motion controls but I still move the system around like tilting it will have some effect. I don’t know why; it’s just the way I instinctually play.) I don’t get motion sickness, but I might know what it feels like now.

The teleporter maze was difficult to navigate partly because the map isn’t up while you’re playing. You open the map by hitting Start, and doing that pauses the game. As a result, I had no concept of which teleporter went where and was simply glad for the sake of the escape that I knew those with information panels next to them went towards the exit. The rest of the time in that maze was more just wandering and hoping I wasn’t repeating things. I’m glad the space isn’t too big and really hope there isn’t another one on the way.
