Intro to Pirate Homeworld

I’m not sure how Gandrayda found the place, but she’s certainly the one for the job.

If I were to take a guess, I’d assume Gandrayda disguised herself as a Space Pirate and then just hopped around on ships until she was headed “home.” The fact that it only took her a week to find the place is impressive, considering neither of the other Hunters managed to get any part of their mission done in the week they had. We don’t know how long Samus has taken, but if what we’ve seen is anywhere close to real time, she works quite quickly. That said, this would also be the longest workday ever for her, so she probably has at least a bit of a rest break while her ship is moving her between planets.

The X-ray Visor was last seen during the events of Metroid Prime 1. If she had it for the Ing to take, it’s not something she ever got back from them. How fitting, then, to get it back from the Space Pirates. There aren’t too many foes that turn invisible in this game, but when they exist, it’s certainly nice to have this visor. The majority of its use, of course, is just operating puzzles, as it says in the data preview. But this game made sure to give most abilities both a combat use and a puzzle use.
