Playing just this part, I knew why we were going there, but not what was there.
It makes sense that Samus cares about Adam so much after playing this game. Of course she’d want something of his to remember him by. She probably had no idea how much of his she was actually getting, though. Now he’s her ship!
There’s not a whole lot to say about this part. We never had the ability to use Power Bombs except during that one fight with the Metroid Queen, so it’s nice that we get to actually go back and use them! I guess Samus isn’t too concerned about not vaporizing humans when she’s pretty certain she’s the only one on the whole ship. Everything else here has already been condemned to destruction, so she may as well use Power Bombs. Plus it’s the only way to get those supersoldiers off the walls. Thinking about it, they’ve been there the entire time. It’s a good thing MB never decided to activate them until the end!
