Alright, that’s it. I need to take a break.
I’ve been doing Emerald Rush for five streams now and am not even halfway to the end. I have 4400 points and I need 10000 to get the last item. While I am enjoying actually playing the game, afterwards I just feel like I wasted my time. I have so many other games to play and this is just a roguelike. Yes, I enjoyed the main story, but there’s no story anymore. It’s just getting points and unlocking more items.
Going forward, this will have to join my roster of “interruption” games. I know, I have a few of those for Sundays now, but that’s just how it’s been. However, rather than being between games, I think I’ll just do it once a month, whenever that event is going on, for as long as the events last (or until I finally get the 10000 points). If the events end first, then I’ll just do it once a month anyway. I think that’s manageable. With that decision, that means next week is Power Wash Simulator. That’s quite a pace change from this game, but I really do need it.
