Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is currently on weekdays.

  • The Legend of Zelda (current: Ocarina of Time 3D: Master Quest)

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade (on deck: X Definitive Edition)

Poll Games:

A set of games selected by viewer poll. I try to run entire series before moving to the next.

This set is currently on Saturdays.

  • Final Fantasy (current: Romancing SaGa 2)
  • Metroid (on deck: Zero Mission)

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • Between Choice series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

ACTUAL END OF CHAPTER?

Final Fantasy XIII - https://youtu.be/sxjeU_K6yHA

That is one devastated town.

I wonder how Vanille's robot managed to survive whatever happened to everyone else. Judging by the state of things… I think everyone eventually turned into a l'Cie. And then most became Cie'th. My hypothesis for why Fang and Vanille ended up where they were is that they were honored by the citizens of Oerba after one of them (presumably Fang) became Ragnarok. Evidently, that happened well before the town's demolition.

It's interesting that we found a Cie'th Stone in the town that referred to the destruction of Oerba, which means there are other people on Gran Pulse that we haven't found. No clue where they are. And if killing Orphan would also kill all the humans of Cocoon, then the only humans left would be those mysterious unfound people, if they're even still around. Barthandelus seems to think that a mass sacrifice of Cocoon's humans will bring back the Maker, and if it happens, he'd better be right, or there will be basically nothing sapient still alive after the fact.

After obtaining the Death spell, I took a bit of time to read up on how it works. There's pretty much a 1% base chance of it ending the foe, and +1% per other debuff currently against the foe. If you have every possible multiplier in effect, the chance is a little over 16%. (This is not going to happen often, I don't think, since I really need to keep the party alive while I spam the spell.) I kept reading down the page… and got some spoilers that didn't bother me at all. You can come back! Ending the chapter is not going to cut out the ability to do missions. With that in mind, I think I'll just go around and try to get some cash from the stuff in the area, then continue with the story.
