DARKNESS OF KNOWLEDGE

Visions of Mana - https://youtu.be/s5w5KU1wgX8

For a moment there I thought they were going to say Darkness represented ideals.

Today was mostly plot. I don't recall the names—or even the forms, mostly—of the Benevodons from Trials, but Zable Fahr was one that I did remember. And it's almost exactly the same. They're probably all going to be like that; it seems that most of the bosses I've fought in this game were just copied from Trials. (Not a 1:1 copy. Just their names and general shape; Visions has much more detailed models, and their attacks are different as well.)

Side note, I might actually have to use Julei, because I'm noticing that my team could probably benefit from the healing. Too much damage dealing, not enough staying alive. If that happens, I'll probably swap to using Morley, because most of the abilities I've given him work even if I forget to use his moves, and Julei can take over for Val.

When I heard "Corepedo," I expected it to have something to do with core crystals, which is not at all the case. It's just a large container of poison which thankfully only affected the one person in the room who could take it. It might have been better for the party if he couldn't take it, but at least we got a name out of him so we could continue our journey in a non-blind manner. I expect at some point that we're going to get the "and the rest you can do in any order" thing like we had in Trials with both the elementals and Benevodons, but if they continue having this much story for each, that might not happen. Either way, we're definitely heading over to all those places sealed off earlier. Maybe we'll even get a Flammie out of the deal.
