Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Donkey Kong Bananza

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is on Mondays & Saturdays.

  • Final Fantasy

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong

  • The Legend of Zelda (on deck: Twilight Princess)

  • Metroid

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • 5-year Stream Anniversary: Breath of the Wild 100%
  • Between Twitch series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer
  • PSI Hope 5: Oct. 19: Hollow Knight Archipelago

DARUK'S TRIALS

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: 100% - https://youtu.be/btLhcDnfy-I

I have no idea how Daruk did any of that.

The trials were clearly made with Link's abilities in mind. Perhaps the Shiekah were wise enough to devise a system that dynamically made challenges for whatever challenger appeared, but the Gorons we spoke with seemed to indicate otherwise. Fighting the Igneo Talus Titan from the ground would be really tedious and "even Gorons can't stand on lava." Memories seem to indicate Zelda possessed the only existing Shiekah Slate, so I have no idea how he moved the iron crates... unless he was strong enough to just toss them around, I guess. And the ring race was devised with Link's paraglider in mind. Unless Daruk was literally launching himself at each ring, that trial was just impossible.

Meanwhile, Daruk's fight would be a massive challenge without the ancient bombs. I have no idea how to get through that shield without them, and the location is too hot to use normal bombs (that is, bomb arrows). I'm pretty sure that even Urbosa's Fury won't do it. So yes, I understand Daruk losing. Good on you, buddy. You did the best you could. If only there was more than one Shiekah Slate.
