Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is currently on weekdays.

  • The Legend of Zelda (current: Ocarina of Time 3D: Master Quest)

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade (on deck: X Definitive Edition)

Poll Games:

A set of games selected by viewer poll. I try to run entire series before moving to the next.

This set is currently on Saturdays.

  • Final Fantasy (current: Romancing SaGa 2)
  • Metroid (on deck: Zero Mission)

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • Between Choice series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

ENDGAME CLEANUP

Visions of Mana - https://youtu.be/47LPznioL_k

Two hours of side quests, and I cut out half of the stream.

This entire stream was side quests. I was expecting something like this for the end of the game, but not quite to this degree. I am very glad I have Flammie for instant transit from basically anywhere, because she sure got a lot of flying in today.

I know that you get stuff for corestones from the unique monsters, but I wasn't expecting that a lot of those would also have side quests tied to them—but mostly only for the high-level ones. I think the reason for that is the low-level ones will be conquered by a good explorer on first pass, but the player probably won't remember where all the high-level ones were for their endgame pass. This gives the player a reminder to go out and get those corestones. It's not on all of them, but it is on some, and I like it.

And on one final note about the side quests: I really like that there's story put to all of them. Not all of them are at the level of Behind the Scenery (which was amazing and made me feel like I was doing Xenoblade 2 Blade quests again), but even the "grab this" or "kill this" quick quests still had a reason to them, such as the boy wanting to know about Iffish. (Also, I had three quests so far where I was supposed to kill that specific grouping of Iffish. I wonder if I could have done them all at the same time?)
