Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is currently on weekdays.

NOTE: Due to life events, this schedule will be changing when the current Poll game finishes.

  • Final Fantasy

  • The Legend of Zelda (on deck: Twilight Princess)

  • Metroid

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade Chronicles (current: X Definitive Edition)

Poll Games:

A set of games selected by viewer poll. I try to run entire series before moving to the next.

This set is currently on Saturdays.

NOTE: Due to life events, this set will be put on hold at the conclusion of the current game.

  • Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • Between Twitch series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

FRUSTRATING SIDE QUESTS

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition - https://youtu.be/SSsP0BNY5vA

Usually, I like exploring and discovering things. Not this way.

A restriction I placed on Luke is that he's not allowed to look things up online. Canonically, his world doesn't have the internet. (My excuse is that he's got a limited data transfer across worlds.) However, he can take hints from chat, and I can look things up, so in lieu of chat saying a hint, I'll look it up and "tell him" in chat. The items I found online said that the material was dropped from beach enemies, so that's why I wrote what I did. But Oblivia has very little by way of beach. It was probably over in Noctilum. The game said Oblivia; I had not the hints to find the materials. I'm just glad I could use the other hint I found online: use material tickets (gained passively by the online squad missions) to just buy the stuff. Luke had already seen that menu, so I didn't need to hint it in chat. I'm still going to try to avoid using it in the future, as I want to see the exploration the game intends.

Also, I finally got a Heart-to-Heart to work! Interesting that Neilnail's young adult (YA) novel of choice was an isekai with nearly the same setting as the story in which we find ourselves. But YA is so much wider than that. That's basically what category I write! Oh, and it's not really a genre, but an age category. My genre is fantasy, ages middle grade (MG) and YA.
