Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is currently on weekdays.

NOTE: Due to life events, this schedule will be changing when the current Poll game finishes.

  • Final Fantasy

  • The Legend of Zelda (on deck: Twilight Princess)

  • Metroid

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade Chronicles (current: X Definitive Edition)

Poll Games:

A set of games selected by viewer poll. I try to run entire series before moving to the next.

This set is currently on Saturdays.

NOTE: Due to life events, this set will be put on hold at the conclusion of the current game.

  • Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • Between Twitch series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

MORE NOPON

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition - https://youtu.be/tD4bKGXQww8

Tatsu is not lying about there being more Nopon than just himself.

Just like Xenoblade 3, we can't control any Nopon in this game. However, the one Nopon tagalong that we do get won't ever participate in battle in any capacity, either. He'll make statements that suggest he'll be participating, but he doesn't. Unlike Lin, who apparently is the same age. It was funny when all the other littlepon ran up to Tatsu and thought he was their father, since that was exactly the case with Riki, who was 40 (despite his looks). However, it's Tatsu's father that is in the same position as Riki, just without the backup of Shulk and everyone else. I don't recall if we ever come across him.

Oh, right, and we did chapter 4. L is… a somewhat unnecessary character. Lin, Tatsu and L all take up the "comic relief" role to such a degree that I'm not sure how Elma puts up with all of them. She's probably grateful for our stoic protagonist. L is, as he says, a merchant. He's also an inventor, as we'll see later, though his inventions get the job done in probably the most unconventional ways possible. If I recall correctly, he makes a self-heating pan by wrapping it in a bug zapper mesh, or something like that. It rather matches his use of English phrasing. I still don't think that we needed him along when we already had Lin and Tatsu. Good thing the party is usually quite flexible in this game.

Of course, the second introduction in chapter 4 is more along the lines of "this is the main plot for the game." We finally met the antagonists… of sorts… and got our urgent call to search for the Lifehold. That said, we still can't actually search for it without the story objective, and this is another "time waits for the protagonist" game, so don't expect me to get right on it. I'll be taking things at my own pace; that is, I'll be doing the story only when I can't find anything else to do.
