Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

 

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is currently on weekdays.

 

  • The Legend of Zelda (current: Ocarina of Time 3D: Master Quest)

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade (on deck: X Definitive Edition)

Poll Games:

A set of games selected by viewer poll. I try to run entire series before moving to the next.

This set is currently on Saturdays.

 

  • Final Fantasy (current: Romancing SaGa 2)
  • Metroid (on deck: Zero Mission)

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

 

  • Between Choice series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

 

POLL: FINAL FANTASY OR METROID?

 

 

It seems the people answering my polls are fond of ties, despite the fact that only I can see the results before the poll ends. Anyway, my die roll says that it's probably okay to play Stranger of Paradise. Again, any Steam game that gives me as much trouble as XIII-2 did gets skipped, period. I haven't heard anything bad in that respect for anything else I own, so hopefully it won't come up again.

 

Next up, now that we know which games will be on it, is the poll for whether I should continue to play FF games for the Poll set or move on to the Metroid series that won last year when I couldn't actually play them. If we get a (pre-December) 2025 release date for Prime 4, I'm making an executive decision to ignore this poll and just move on to Metroid. But otherwise, I'll abide by the poll results at the conclusion of Romancing SaGa 2.
