Dadish 2 - https://youtu.be/RkKsY7Crfxs

New items in this game:

  1. New foes
  2. Riding an ally
  3. Low gravity

Of the new foes, the only one that really makes an impression is the cupcakes. (Or, um, sundaes? That's what Dadish called one, but they really look more like cupcakes to me.) They chase you faster than you can flee and the only saving grace is they can't jump. The little ones make for more of a boss fight than the actual boss enemy.

I forgot to mention that you can adjust Burgurgular's jump height by how long you press the button. That's also the case for Dadish himself, but his jump is so low that that doesn't make much of a difference. As jump height and timing is the only control you have for Burgurgular, it stands out a lot more. I wouldn't mind those sections as much if I could tell him to stand still for a bit (timing is rather impossible for some situations otherwise) but with how short the game is, I can forgive it for that.

Low gravity is a fun concept that gives a lot more meaning to the free adjustment of Dadish's jump height. The slow fall that is connected with it also lets the developer put in more movement challenges a la VVVVVV. (I haven't streamed that game yet. It's coming. In the meantime, look up "Doing Things the Hard Way.")
