Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is currently on weekdays.

  • The Legend of Zelda (current: Ocarina of Time 3D: Master Quest)

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade (on deck: X Definitive Edition)

Poll Games:

A set of games selected by viewer poll. I try to run entire series before moving to the next.

This set is currently on Saturdays.

  • Final Fantasy (current: Romancing SaGa 2)
  • Metroid (on deck: Zero Mission)

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • Between Choice series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

THE LAST BENEVODONS

Visions of Mana - https://youtu.be/qt-DHZNTtMA

No more side quests!

I like that, as uninvolved as Aesh feels at times, he still got his own side quest. And it was a weapon for Julei, of course. But no quest reward beats the Traveler's Charm from Val's own quest. I thought 60% resistance was nice, but I finally have a Ribbon! (Yes, I will refer to all full status immunity accessories as Ribbons.)

The story with Val and Hinna is particularly impactful here, and I feel like we've reached its conclusion. Next up is the bridge that we never would have had to cross if Eoren had let Lyza go to the Mana Tree four years ago. When I first crossed it all that time ago—we hadn't even met Julei yet—I commented that the center of the bridge looked like a boss fight arena. But nothing was there. I figured that it would be a postgame or side quest boss, but the lore we got then matched up with what we learned in Terratio, and, well… A final boss fight in the middle of an ancient and poorly-maintained bridge sounds just right. Good thing we have the Flammy Drum, because I have a strong suspicion that the bridge is not going to survive the coming battle.
