THE WEST HALF

Okay, that took slightly less time than expected, after adjusting for last time.
I've been calculating about when I'll finish the game since I started it. Initial estimate was 8 streams, but also, I expected that filling out the map would only take one stream. It was a pleasant surprise on the second stream of charting that I also managed to do the whole task with Jabun in this stream.
The very earliest "Triumph Forks" map you can get is from the Islet of Steel. To my knowledge, all you need for that one is bombs. But I think I'll be putting it off from the start of next stream, since I'd like to start that one with story. Well, mostly. I might also be able to finish the entirety of Zunari's quest, if I have enough funds. I'm not sure exactly how much I need to finish out the set, but it's not too much travel to get it done. I've already met all three of the traveling merchants. But after either finishing that quest or running out of funds, I'll be starting up the next story item. I don't have a whole lot of stuff left to do on the Great Sea, and I'll be doing it roughly as it comes, with an emphasis on Story First. The rest of the stuff I can do can fill time until end of stream.
As for the story that came up this time: we've got a few things hidden and a few revealed. Yes, Ganon is at least vaguely aware of what we're doing. He didn't realize that we'd be a threat when he tossed us away, but of course this is Link Luc we're talking about. So he's trying to make our path harder, not that he hasn't already done a wonderful job of that well before we even started out. The never-ending night that came with visiting Greatfish lasts literally forever until you get Nayru's Pearl, which is why I normally would beeline for that so that Beedle's special shop wouldn't close. Turns out it doesn't actually close. He just takes off the helmet. So since I still wanted to do things that depended on time passing, I dodged Greatfish for as long as possible. As for Jabun and KoRL's conversation, well, that's going to remain hidden until New Game Plus. The main bonus of NGP is that the Hylian text is translated. That's why I want to do that even after I finish the game. Hopefully it won't take too long to get that far, since I'll be doing the bare minimum on NGP.
