Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is currently on weekdays.

  • The Legend of Zelda (current: Ocarina of Time 3D: Master Quest)

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade (on deck: X Definitive Edition)

Poll Games:

A set of games selected by viewer poll. I try to run entire series before moving to the next.

This set is currently on Saturdays.

  • Final Fantasy (current: Romancing SaGa 2)
  • Metroid (on deck: Zero Mission)

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • Between Choice series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

THE WITCH IS DEAD! AGAIN!

Trials of Mana - https://youtu.be/AaRGG0dyFoY

That is one very persistent witch.

One nice thing about the last few character levels is that they give you enough points to max out every single ability you have. No abilities left behind. You get everything. Not that everything is necessarily all that useful.

On leveling up character abilities, I have a system, now. First priority is stuff that gives me moves, because those can always be used, unlike the limited passive ability slots. First priority for the character I'm controlling, though, is [that one killer move] and then useful passive abilities, because I'm generally not going to bother using moves. In Visions of Mana, I got four buttons to assign moves to, separate from items, but in Trials, they have to compete with assigning items. So I give them one slot. And I don't like pulling up the ring menu in combat.

As for taking down the various levels of Anise, I've done my best. I don't know how it's even possible to do level 2, let alone any challenges past that one. I'm not going to stress over it. The point of replaying the game is to get all the story, not to 100% it.
