Game Plans

Sundays:

A set of games I can play while watching the other streamers on the multistream and interacting with chat. Must fit the format of shorter (2-hour) streams.

  • Super Mario (current: Odyssey)

  • Picross S (when I need a break: S2)

  • Power Wash Simulator (between games)

Choice Games:

A set of games I really want to play, whether by express choice or a sense of obligation. Twitch viewers can populate this with a points redemption. Presently, I am finishing series that I started earlier and then gained further access to series entries after finishing the set.

This set is on Mondays & Saturdays.

  • Final Fantasy

  • The Legend of Zelda (on deck: Twilight Princess)

  • Metroid

  • Pokemon
  • Wonder Boy
  • Xenoblade Chronicles (current: X Definitive Edition)

Event Games/Etc.:

Games and other streams voted on by the community for certain events. Most often, this is for annual events such as my Twitch Affiliate anniversary and my streaming anniversary, or as a break between finishing game series. There can be more of these if Twitch subscription milestones are hit.

  • Between Twitch series: model building
  • First Saturday monthly: Hollow Knight Randomizer

WRONG CHOICES

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition - https://youtu.be/tQarIkneUI8

Today's video is full of people making bad decisions, starting with myself.

Cauldros, as hostile a place as it is, has an entrance in the northwest corner just for the curious types who decide to swim north before even hitting a two-digit level. With that in mind, I thought telling a guy to go west would be a good idea. I couldn't tell where he was from the patchy description and, with the exception of his exact location, going west is pretty much a universally good idea in Cauldros. South, meanwhile, usually doesn't help.

After my bad guess, we had a host of other missions also caused or influenced by bad decisions. Just about every race in New LA got a turn, aside from the Zaruboggan that we didn't see at all. And the Wrothians, but they're new arrivals. They'll get their turn.

The Affinity Missions recently have been especially nice. Gwin learning how to be an effective fighter was sweet, but sweeter still was getting that present for Hope. I'm a little surprised that the one guy had to hack FrontierNav to find the data unit, since that's half the point of the system. And while Hope's concerns on her problem are valid, that's not the majority return for kindness. You just have to be a little more shrewd… unlike myself during The Ultimate Price.
