The Mark VII is a bit more useful than I’d expected!
I wonder what’s the difference between the Mark V we see everywhere and the Mark VII that we actually get? The game probably won’t tell us but I can’t see a difference other than the number. Well, we might find out if we see Sylux with a Mark V later, but I somehow doubt that’ll happen. It’s not Twilight Princess.
Xelios and Helios are roughly the same fight, except we don’t have to worry about using Hypermode so they just gave Xelios a lot of shields. The nice thing is that destroying those shields drops health refills; I’m playing on Normal and probably can expect not to get too many game overs, so long as I pick up everything along the way. Speaking of which, in my review of the footage, I noticed that I missed an item right by the exit cannon for Fury Green! I don’t know what it is, so hopefully it’s just a missile upgrade, not an energy tank. (Those are the only things it could be at this point.) I’m already into the next area, so I’ll go back at its conclusion. Besides, maybe I’ll pick something up in there that I could use at other spots I’ve already passed.
