I wonder if we’ll see Tanamaar again before the ending?
For some reason, I get the feeling that this entire world is somehow housed inside the artifact that was activated, and that all of this is taking place in a split second, or something like that. I just don’t feel like we’re really in the present here. (The external characters are certainly from the present, though, considering the mechanic recognizing Samus immediately.) Like, maybe the artifact is the result of the fruits of Samus’s labor or something. This is a first playthrough, and I really have no idea what’s coming.
It’s clear that whatever power brought us here, it was strong enough to bring an entire troop transport, but not strong enough to bring us to a point before the Lamorn vanished. (At this time, I can’t pick out the root words for their name. I feel like “forlorn” is part of it, maybe? “Luminoth” was easier.) I imagine we’ll find out why they vanished in the course of this journey. I wonder if they were friends with the Chozo as well?
