I’m two for two on my predictions!
Both of those were predictions I’d made in the course of the stream, not during my review of the previous video. Predicting weapon order is perhaps a bit easier than predicting story lore, though: the more frequently a lock shows up, the earlier the ability to pass it will be. However, I did have my prediction on the lore in mind prior to that first scan. I just didn’t think it was all that pertinent to say it when I thought of it, which was while I was dodging Grievers in Fury Green as I was quickly trying to gather the upgrades that Fire Shot enabled collecting.
After clearing the lab and reading all the info, I have one more prediction, of which I am far less sure: completing the game 100% will give us a special ending where the Grievers revert. The 100% requires that I pick up all the green energy crystals, or at least a significant portion of them. (It might be a little mean to have me scour the desert, unless that’s one of the things the local Scout Bot can point out.) Perhaps Samus using them all will allow a degree of fixing things. Samus has been historically too late to save anyone in the Prime games, though the Luminoth were a counterexample. It still hurts that she was only two weeks late for the Elysians. But perhaps, though she arrived well past the year of research here, it’s not entirely too late to save the Lamorn.
