Finishing the Fire Station

That took long enough!

That was my third stream of the Fire Station, and I’m mostly happy that the largest part of the job, the garage roof, was also the easiest. It’s a relatively unobstructed rectangular floor and you just have to walk back and forth until it’s done—and it contributes 16% to the job by itself. These sections are by far the best part for just doing the task and talking about something completely unrelated, not that I frequently stay on-topic about this game while I’m playing it anyway.

While I’m not the biggest fan of Power Wash Simulator, I do have to say it’s a great thing to stream when I just want to talk about other things, such as my stream plans. It’s nice and relaxed and the only time pressure I really have is that I want to get the game done at some point. There’s a sequel, but I think I’d rather just play Picross S puzzles in this slot once this game is done. Someone said he really likes the story of this game, but I’m a third of the way through and still haven’t really seen much story. The mayor’s cat is the only real story we have so far.

As discussed in the video, I’m thinking of returning to my four streams per week schedule from before last year, though in a different fashion. Rather than doing the fourth stream to the same level of effort as the other Twitch streams, it’ll just be for the game challenges I started up recently. Well, more like started recording recently. I’ve been playing challenges in old games for, well, pretty much as long as I’ve been playing games. I remember doing “no healing” challenges in Pokemon Emerald when I was in elementary school. However, since I haven’t streamed any Pokemon games yet, I decided to start this with Final Fantasy. There’s plenty I can do with the Pixel Remasters. I just hope I’m not still doing the current challenge at the end of 2027.
